How to create a new Book

Books are one of the easiest and possibly more useful tools of Drupal. You can create a series of related pages and position them in an order as you wish.

You start by clicking on "Create content" and then select "Book page". A new page appears with a space for a title and a larger one for the body (contents) with all the formating icons.

Move below the body section to the links and open the "Book outline", click  the down pointing arrow to see if there are any existing books. If there is none or the existing titles do not suit your needs, then select the "create new book" this will be your new container and will take the title that you will now enter. Otherwise select an existing book from the list under "Book outline" (in this case we created a new title).

Enter in the Body of the message your article as usual, use the formatting tools and isert a picture or more if you wish. When you finish and you are happy with your text, pictures and formatting, simply click on save (or preview and then save). This is all. Now if you go to our home page and do a refresh, you will see the links in the left column under the general title "books". ALL DONE.
