When you start any article (page, story, forum topic, book or blog entry) you will get a partially empty page that looks like a form with a couple of short text fields and a larger text area where you are supposed to enter tour main text and pictures.

In the first text field, "Title:" you are supposed to enter a title, make it short, but as descriptive as possible. Titles are used by search engines to find your posts.

In the second text field, "Tags:" you must enter a few single words, or very small sentences, that again will be used by search engines to find your posts. Separate these entries with a comma.

Next comes the Menu settings, ignore it for now, you may have to use it specific applications.

Now check the main text area, if it is just a an empty space with no formatting icons, go below the empty area, open the "Input format" and select the radio button "Full HTML" Now you should be able to see a total of 24 formatting icons in the top area of the editor. Most of them are self explanatory and they resemble most word processor or spreadsheet formatting tools. We will quickly list them below following the numbers from upper icon series from left to right and continuing to the next two rows with less icons:

1. This is the bold icon
2. Can be used as alone (shown above) or in combination bold and Italics shown here and even
3. bold and italics plus underline here
4. Text align left
5. Text align center
6. Text align right
7. Text align justify
8. Unordered or bulleted list (using a dot to create a list)
9. Ordered or numbered list. The ordered list seams to be ending at number 9 and then starts again from 1, so we will try a little trick here using the indent tag:

10. Outdent
11. Indent
12. Create link (URL)
13. Delete link
14. Anchor ??
15. Insert image
16. Text color
17. Blockquote
18. Source code (opens HTML tab).
19. Insert horizontal line, it does not work all the times, use ....... or -------- or _______.
20. Insert spacial characters e.g. Euro sign €
21. Font type

22. Font size

23. Font style (color and size test the various options)
24. Insert table
25. Insert flash, check it out, you may be better with an embed code from You Tube
